On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Trans Asian Chamber, renowned RTI activist Anil Galgali was honored with the prestigious “The Pillar of Hindustani Society” award. The award was presented by former DGP Dr. Paraminder Singh Pasric ha at a special ceremony held at the Royal Yacht Club.
The event was graced by several distinguished dignitaries, including Trans Asian Chamber President Pravin Lunkad, Working President Uday Naik, Vice President Dr. Sanjay Bhide, Dr. Arun Sawant, Prakash Joshi, and Abhijit Desai. Additionally, international representatives such as Graham London, Consul General of Argentina Daniel Quer Confalonieri, Consul General of Belarus Alexander Matsukov, Consul from the Embassy of Iran Dr. Reza Sayedan, Vice Consul from the Turkish Embassy Rabia Kartal, Consul from the Belarus Embassy Konstantin Pinchuk, Ambassador Fesseha Shawel Gebre from Ethiopia & Trade Consul from the Ghana Embassy in Delhi Konrad Nana Kojo Asiedu were also present.
While receiving the award, Anil Galgali expressed his commitment to continuing his work for social welfare and emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability through the Right to Information Act.
