The “Year of Community 2025” campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE was oƯicially supported by the India Social and Cultural Centre (ISC) in Abu Dhabi with a poster unveiling ceremony on 20th April 2025. The poster was inaugurated by Honorable former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind. The event was attended by key dignitaries including Indian Ambassador to the UAE H.E. Mr. Sunjay Sudhir, ISC President Mr. Jayaram Rai, General Secretary Mr. Rajesh Sreedharan, ISC Chairman and prominent businessman Padmashri Dr. YusuƯ Ali M.A, ISC Patron Governor Mr. K. Muraleedharan, ISC Managing Committee Members and in the presence of General Governors of ISC, Distinguished Guests and fellow ISC Members and families.
In his address, Shri Ram Nath Kovind appreciated the UAE’s initiative aimed at promoting togetherness and cultural harmony. He highlighted the significance of community-based eƯorts in enhancing social values and solidarity.Dr. YusuƯ Ali noted that the ISC has always played a key role in uniting communities and promoting cultural cooperation and assured full support for the “Year of Community” campaign. President of the India Social and Cultural Centre (ISC), expressed that the ISC has long stood as a vibrant symbol of India’s Culture, unity and Community spirit in the UAE.
