ಶಿರ್ವ, ಡಿ. 24: ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಅವಕಾಶ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದ ಸುಂದರ ಬದುಕು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾದೇಗುಲದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಮುಂಬಯಿ ಬಂಟರ ಸಂಘದ  ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸಿಎ ಶಂಕರ ಬಿ. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಅವರು ಡಿ.21 ರಂದು ಕುತ್ಯಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾದಾಯಿನಿ ಹಿ.ಪ್ರಾ. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಶತಸಂವತ್ಸರೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಶಿರ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಸಂಘದ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರೊ|ವೈ ಭಾಸ್ಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ನೀಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಿಎ ಶಂಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬಯಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಸದಾಶಿವ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನವೀಕೃತ ಶಾಲಾ ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಹಳೆವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕುತ್ಯಾರು ನವೀನ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಮ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 

ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಧನಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಕುತ್ಯಾರು ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಕುತ್ಯಾರು ನವೀನ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿದಾನಿಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಹಳೆವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕೆಪಿಟಿಸಿಎಲ್ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿವಾಚನಗೈದರು. ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದವರಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶತಸಂವತ್ಸರೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಗೌರವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಜಿನೇಶ್ ಬಲ್ಲಾಳ್, ಮುಂಬಯಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಜೇಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಕುತ್ಯಾರು ಕಿಶೋ‌ರ್ ಕುಮಾ‌ರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮುಂಬಯಿ .ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಕುತ್ಯಾರು ನವೀನ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಸತ್ಯಹಾಸ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮುಂಬೈ. ಎಡ್ವಕೇಟ್ ಆರ್.ಜಿ. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ  ಮುಂಬಯಿ.ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶರ್ಮಿಳಾ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. 

ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ವೃಂದ, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಮುಂಬಯಿ,ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಕುತ್ಯಾರು ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹಳೆವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಹೆತ್ತವರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಶತಸಂವತ್ಸರೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕುತ್ಯಾರು ಕೇಂಜ ಶ್ರೀಧರ ತಂತ್ರಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಅನಂತ ಮೂಡಿತ್ತಾಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿ, ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಕೋಶಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸತೀಶ್ ಕುತ್ಯಾರು ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಲಾವಿದ ಮುಲ್ಕಿ ರವೀಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಭು ಬಳಗದವರಿಂದ ರಾಗ್ ರಂಗ್, ಸನಾತನ ನಾಟ್ಯಾಲಯ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಇವರಿಂದ ಸನಾತನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಾಂಜಲಿ, ಹಳೆವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಗಳು, ಪೋಷಕರು, ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರಿಂದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಾವು ರಂಗತರಂಗ ಕಲಾವಿದರಿಂದ ತುಳು ನಾಟಕ ಶೋಬಾಜಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

Shirva, Dec. 24: The opportunity for education does not always come in life. If children are educated, the entire family and society will develop. If more emphasis is placed on learning in life, success in life is possible. If we get involved in the development of the temple of education that builds a beautiful life through education, we will receive God’s grace, said CA Shankar B. Shetty, former president of Mumbai Buntara Sangha.

He inaugurated the school’s centenary celebrations held on December 21 at the Kutyaru Vidyadayini H.Pr. School premises by lighting the lamp and speaking. Shirva Vidyavardhaka Sangha Administrator Prof. Y. Bhaskara Shetty said that Kannada medium schools are giving more emphasis on imparting culture and ethics to children. CA Shankar Shetty and Mumbai businessman Sadashiva Shetty inaugurated the renovated school room. Retired headmaster and former student BJP district president Kutyaru Naveen Shetty, who served in the school, were honored.

Donors who had provided financial support to the school were honored. Organizing Secretary Kuthyaru Prasad Shetty introduced the head teacher and General Secretary Kuthyaru Naveen Shetty introduced the donors.

Alumni Bangalore KPTCL Assistant Executive Engineer Pradeep delivered the welcome address. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions. Centenary Celebration Committee Honorary President Jinesh Ballal, Mumbai Committee President Suresh Shetty Bangalore Committee President Rajesh Shetty Convener Kutyaru Kishore Kumar Shetty Mumbai. General Secretary Kutyaru Naveen Shetty Coordinator Sathyahas Shetty Mumbai. Advocate R.G. Shetty Mumbai. Head Teacher Sharmila was on the stage.

The teaching staff, members of the board of directors, office bearers and members of the Mumbai, Bangalore and Kutyaru committees, alumni of the school, parents, students and villagers were present. Kutyaru Kenja Sridhar Tantri, president of the Centenary Celebration Committee, who presided over the function, welcomed the gathering with an introduction. Retired principal Ananth Muditthaya compered the program, and committee treasurer Satish Kutyaru proposed the vote of thanks. Music artist Mulki Ravindra Prabhu performed Rag Rang, Sanatan Rashtaranjali was performed by Sanatan Natyalay Mangalore, a cultural program was performed by alumni, parents and villagers, and a Tulu drama show was performed by Ratri Kavu Rangataranga artists.
